I received a Doctorate degree in Biology in 2018 under the advisement of Dr. Ryan W. McEwan at the University of Dayton, Dayton, OH. I received a Master of Science degree in Biology from the University of Dayton in 2012 (also advised by Dr. McEwan) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Plant Biology from Ohio University in 2009.
Other fun facts: I worked for the U.S. Forest Service in the Ironton district of the Wayne National Forest (summer 2007) and the Vinton Furnace Experimental Research Station (summer 2009). I have traveled to Peru, Malaysia, and Taiwan. I have two cats, Andrew (tuxedo) and Pepi (grey tabby). I enjoy kayaking, gardening, cooking, science fiction, having way too many houseplants, and riding my bike to work.
